Friends of the Library: Home

The Friends of the Library membership is available to Texas residents who are not affiliated with Texas Tech Health El Paso and are interested in accessing library services.

Membership benefits:

• Members receive a “TTHEP Libraries” library card 
• Members are granted borrowing privileges for physical items
• Two (2) free standard literature searches, with the option to purchase additional searches
• Thirty (30) free document delivery requests for materials owned by the TTHEP Libraries, with additional requests available for purchase
• One hundred (100) free document prints 
• Thirty (30) free standard interlibrary loan requests, with the option to purchase more
• Access to free instruction and training sessions

Membership Restrictions:

• The annual membership may only be used by the person named on the application
• Access to library electronic resources is not available
• Membership is non-transferrable

To become Friend of the Library you may download and print a copy of the Friends of the Library Agreement and take it to:

Please Note:

• The membership (contract) is valid for a 12-month period which begins when it has been finalized and activated
• The membership (contract) approval process may take months
