A Permanent Link, also known as a Proxy Link, is a link that can be accessed at home, on campus, or anywhere else. When students, faculty, or staff need to access a book or chapter, a Permanent Link will allow them to view said content even if the content is behind a sign-in wall.
Use a Permanent Link when accessing books or chapters off campus. The URL of the link has a built in access point to reach content Texas Tech is subscribed to, no matter your location.
By simply coping the URL of the book or chapter and pasting it next to our provided URL, it will allow any Texas Tech affiliate to access said content no matter where they are.
