Poster Printing at TTUHSC Library

Poster requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance of need.
Requests for same-day or less than 24-hours will be subject to a $10.00 RUSH surcharge.

SARP Posters

The Department of Medical Education will pay for 1 poster on bond paper. 

Patrons are responsible for the cost of any prints on vinyl as well as poster tubes.


The TTUHSCEP Libraries of the Health Sciences offer poster printing for all TTHUSCEP students, faculty, residents, and staff.

The Cannon imagePrograf TX-300 is able to print high-quality images on material up to 36 inches in height.

Available materials are economic bond paper and scrim banner vinyl.

Printing Fees

Prices are determined per foot and are calculated based on the longest edge of your print.

Poster Printing Hours of Operation

Please allow 24-hours for posters to be printed. 
A $10.00 RUSH fee will be applied to any requests for posters needed same-day or less than 24 hours in advance.

Poster Printing Features 

  • Supports prints up to 36 inches in width on economic bond paper and durable matter propylene banner or vinyl.
  • Equipped with T36 scanner for scanning documents.
  • Print Resolution up to 2400x1200 dpi max.
  • One poster print can generally take about 5-10 minutes to complete.

Poster Printing Guidelines

To request a poster print, please do the following:
  • Fill out a "Request for Poster Printing" form either using the link at the top of this page or at the MEB library circulation desk.
  • Let us know how you will be paying. Payments can be made using a credit card, PaperCut credit, or with a TTUHSCEP Department account number (FOP). Cash will not be accepted.
  • Please send an email with your file to be printed in PowerPoint format (.pptx).  An email address will be provided by staff at the circulation desk. We cannot accept personal USB drives.
  • Please proof read your file before submission for poster printing. Posters will not be reprinted free of charge due to any typographical and grammatical errors on the requestor's end.
  • If you are using PowerPoint, please make sure that your slide dimensions match your desired poster dimensions. For example, a 48" X 36" poster should have matching 48" X 36"  landscape orientation PowerPoint slide (see below).


  • Poster prints will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Staff will email you once your poster print is complete and ready for pick up at MEB Library.
  • When picking up your poster print, please provide your full name to a member of our staff at our circulation desk. Only the person who requested the poster print may pick it up.
