PaperCut Printing Account

Each TTUHSC student receives a PaperCut printing account once they have logged onto a library computer. A PaperCut printing account is a money account used to pay for printing from our computers, among other fines and fees.

  • Existing TTUHSCEP Medical, Nursing, Dental, and Graduate student accounts are automatically replenished with $150.00 every June 1.
  • All balances are wiped on May 31.
  • PaperCut accounts can be used to pay for the following library services and fees:
    - Color and Black & White printing

    - Poster prints and tube
    - 3D prints
    - Late fees
  • All other library fees and fines must be paid with using a credit/debit card and are subject to state sales tax.
  • Once funds in a student's account are depleted they cannot be replenished until the following June.
  • Funds cannot be added using a debit/credit card.

On June 1, every student is given a $150.00 credit in their library PaperCut account.

  • In order to automatically receive this credit, a student needs to have an existing PaperCut account.
  • If a student creates a PaperCut account after the automatic credit renewal (June 1), they will need to notify the library staff in order to receive their $400.00 credit. Money in the student's PaperCut account may be used to pay for some library services and fees (see above).
  • PaperCut accounts are not "savings accounts," and balances are non-refundable.
  • Any remaining balances will be wiped at the end of the academic year.
  • PaperCut only replenishes accounts that exist.
  • Balances cannot be transferred between users.

How to create a PaperCut Account

  1. Go to a TTUHSCEP Library.
  2. Login to a library computer using your eRaider account.
  3. Send something to be printed.
  4. Your account will be automatically created.

Non-Student Printing

Patrons who are not TTUHSC El Paso students do not receive printing credit and cannot pay to add credit to their Papercut accounts. This includes faculty, residents, staff, and members of the public.

These patrons can print at the library by emailing their documents to the circulation desk staff and paying for printouts with a debit or credit card.
