Welcome to the TTUHSC El Paso Libraries subject guide for exam preparation resources including books, websites, databases, etc.

UWorld

UWorld is a company which provides high quality preparation products to support students who are studying for the USMLE.
The libraries currently purchase individual UWorld subscriptions for PLFSOM medical students at two points during each student's time in medical school.  
  • MS2 students receive 180-day access to the Step 1 QBank and 2-week access to self-assessment 1 & 2 in November.
  • MS3 students receive 360-day access to the Step 2 CK QBank and 2-week access to self-assessment 1 & 2 in May.

Information about accessing individual subscriptions is emailed to eligible students by the Managing Director of the Libraries. The log-in information controls when he/she activates his/her subrscription.
