ExPASy (Bioinformatics Resource Portal)
ExPASy is the SIB Bioinformatics Resource Portal which provides access to scientific databases and software tools (i.e., resources) in different areas of life sciences including proteomics, genomics, phylogeny, systems biology, population genetics, transcriptomics etc. (see Categories in the left menu). On this portal you find resources from many different SIB groups as well as external institutions.

Nucleotide
NCBI’s Nucleotide database is the single point of access for all GenBank sequence data with a common look and feel.
SRA: Sequence Read Archive
The Sequence Read Archive (SRA) stores raw sequence data from "next-generation" sequencing technologies including Illumina, 454, IonTorrent, Complete Genomics, PacBio and OxfordNanopores. In addition to raw sequence data, SRA now stores alignment information in the form of read placements on a reference sequence.

ClinVar aggregates information about genomic variation and its relationship to human health.

MedGen
Organizes information related to human medical genetics, such as attributes of conditions with a genetic contribution.
OMIM
OMIM, Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man, is a comprehensive, authoritative compendium of human genes and genetic phenotypes that is freely available and updated daily. The full-text, referenced overviews in OMIM contain information on all known Mendelian disorders and over 15,000 genes. OMIM focuses on the relationship between phenotype and genotype. It is updated daily, and the entries contain copious links to other genetics resources.
