Welcome new Texas Tech Health El Paso library users!

Want to check out books, phone chargers, and more? Need to request an ILL (InterLibrary Loan)?

TTHEP affiliates will have library accounts automatically updated in our system.

TTHEP Students, Residents, Staff, and Faculty already have access to all electronic resources through our website using the Raider Search, A-Z Database List, or Guides, with no need for a library account (use your eRaider username and password when prompted.)

Unaffiliated Non-TTHEP Users only have on-campus access to online electronic resources at our library.

• In order to check out any items, patrons must first fill out a library application online.

• Once your application has been processed by library staff, you may place a book on hold online. Once library staff has retrieved the book, you will receive an e-mail notifying you that the book is ready for check out.

• General Collection materials circulate for two-week periods. These Materials may be renewed twice for additional two-week periods if they are renewed on or before the due date. If they are renewed online before the due date, the borrower will lose out on those days.

  • Audiovisual materials circulate for varying periods.

  • Reserve Audio visual - minimum of 2 days or up to 10 days

• Dry Erase Markers circulate for 24 hours.

• Headphones circulate for up to 24 hours.

• Phone chargers circulate for up to 24 hours.

• Whiteboards circulate for up to 24 hours.

• Blu-Ray players circulate for 7 days.

• Overdue items may NOT be renewed.

• Maximum of 12 items checked out at one time.

• Journals materials DO NOT circulate.

Borrowed items may be renewed by telephone (215-4306 or 215-4681). Also, borrowed items may also be renewed online via the online catalog.

• Overdue Items accrue fines of $0.50* per day per item overdue. 

• ​​For lost items, the borrower is responsible for the replacement cost of the item plus a $25.00* processing fee and all accrued overdue fines.
• Borrowing privileges are suspended and profiles become restricted for overdue items and unpaid fines.
• Fines and fees may be paid by debit/ credit card at any Circulation desk.
• Fines and fees may also be paid by funds in your Paper-cut printing account.
• *State taxes may apply to all charges*

Any TTHEP patrons who have overdue fines and fees will not be allowed to check/sign out of the Library, either for Graduation or termination, until all pending charges are paid.
